Review the 2017 List (see below) for the “100 Best Corporate Citizens.” Choose a company from the top 50
that you are interested in researching further. For that company, from the following (6 categories), choose 2
categories to research further:
1. Environment 2. Climate Change
3. Human Rights 4. Employee Relations
5. Corporate Governance 6. Philanthropy
For the company and categories you choose, research on the company’s web site the programs the company
has in that arena. Use the TEMPLATE provided and prepare a 2-4 paragraph summary of these programs,
policies and corporate approach to the issues. Then, offer your expert opinion on whether those activities
constitute an approach that should OR should NOT allow them to be on the “100 Best Corporate Citizens” list.
Your 2 page Essay should contain the following parts (See Template):

Essay FORMAT: Repeat (type) each question (as noted above) as a Header in APA format (refer to
template). Each paragraph will be 6-8 sentences (minimum) in length integrating concepts from your reading
and utilizing your company’s official website. Your paper should be written in the format noted above, Times
New Roman or Arial, size 12 font, double spaced, with in-text citations (from the textbook and company
website), and a Reference page.
Submit your well formatted, fully proofread response as an attachment to the Assignment link in Canvas
(acceptable formats are .doc or .docx).
Post one copy of your Essay to the Assignment in Canvas by the date/time given in your course syllabus.
This essay is worth 40 grading points. Each question response will be graded based on:
1. Thoughtful and insightful response to the question.
2. Using personal examples to illustrate your points.
3. Using frameworks/concepts from the text appropriately.
